You can arrive here without a car. Train journeys from most UK railway stations arrive at our local station of Berwick Upon Tweed, by a coastal route noted for famous views and described as the most ‘picturesque rail journey’ in the UK – what a great way to begin your holiday!
From ‘Composers’ there are numerous easy path walks. All you need are a decent pair of walking shoes or stouter boots for the more difficult coastal/beach routes. Bringing your own bike or hiring while here is also an option. We have a dedicated storage shed for bikes, on site, so you never need to worry about their security when not in use.
There are many activities that can be enjoyed by using public transport from Scremerston or Berwick. In our Reception Office we have guides and timetables to help you plan your route, journey and destination.
With our on-site facilities, the tranquil ‘Composers’ atmosphere, the individual patios attached to each property, the play area and paddock (open Easter to October) and Composers Lawn there are plenty of opportunities to be as energetic or relaxed as you wish. You really don’t need to leave too often as everything you need is here on site. Local supermarkets offer delivery services direct to ‘Composers’. If you travelling with a baby or small child, we can provide cot, highchair, stair gate, baby alarm and babies own cutlery, plates and bowls, all free of charge.
