Technically the blog is written at the end of the month – but this blog is penned in the first days of a New Year and with good reason! We want to wish all our guests, past, present & future a wonderful new year and hope you will spend some of it at ‘Composers’.
The Composer was also been slightly busy over the last days of 2017, as was Mrs C, with the usual festive preparations and making sure guests of ‘Composers’ were warmly welcomed for Christmas and New Year. In fact, there was very little time to sit down and write a blog!! Even the weather played its part – with the Berwick coast avoiding the snow, gales and rain which blanketed much of the UK helping us get out and about, avoiding being in the office too much!.
And so with all in place, festivities under way, The Composer and Mrs C started their own Santa trek to catch up with family and friends scattered throughout the North of England. Guests came and went at ‘Composers’ and finally the festivities ended – the decorations came down and the Christmas lights were packed away again.
The New Year has arrived and despite the cold, short days the work at ‘Composers’ goes on, maintaining the high standard guests have come to expect when they visit. As ever, the thorough spring clean will be under way long before ‘spring’ truly arrives so we are ready for guests – whatever the month, whatever the season.
